A Century of Men’s Grooming an Un-forgettable Showcase
Daniel and his management team are preparing to host this unique event in what will undoubtedly be a great showcase for all of our supporting partners.
A Century of Men’s Grooming will demonstrate the changing perceptions and attitudes to the way men have groomed over the past century up to the present day. Fundamentally, there will be four visual components to the event and these are as follows:
The purpose of the timeline will be to reflect on important events and symbolic icons that have influenced men’s grooming and general fashion. The timeline will be based on a strong visual concept so that the audience will have an instant appreciation of what and who have influenced men’s grooming over the last century.
A Collection of Classic Memorabilia
I have amassed a collection of 15,000 items of grooming memorabilia dating back over 100 years. Most of these items are unique and it will give the audience a chance to appreciate not only the workmanship that has gone into making these tools but how far technology has developed over the past century. A selection of this fine memorabilia will be displayed at the event in viewing cases, with a detailed description of each item.
A Running Commentary
There will be a continuous production of promotional clips ranging from early to modern day advertising. The advertising will demonstrate how communication has changed since the early forms of advertising to modern day and multi channel promotion. The main sponsor will also have the opportunity to run a commentary regarding the history of the company and product information etc.
This area will contain a men’s bar possibly in the format of a traditional barber shop. The purpose of this area will be to educate the man in various grooming techniques and exposing the visitor to a range of supporting products. We would also hope to have touch screen terminals where the visitors could also ask the barber a range of grooming related questions. We would also hope to hold demonstrations in this area that would also host any pre-determined PR exercises.
